At DeJump, we understand that learning a language is often the bridge to a new career or to exploring a new world. At we know that is can somehting appear tedious. That is why we have developped programs to ease up the learning curve with a practical and pleasurable approch.

Language training begins on location at the company or in seminar rooms provided by DeJump, in groups or one-to-one. Regular testing takes place and the proposed language training program is reviewed by the company training manager or operations manager and the DeJump academic director. Lesson reports are continuously updated online, with a continuous record of attendance.

Needs Analysis Assessment
One of our team of experienced language tutors will meet you prior to the start of your course to assess your current level in your target language and to help you identify realistic goals for the course. A course outline will then be prepared with details of topics to be covered, core materials to be used, and achievement goals for the course.This involves (i) a written test to assess passive knowledge of grammar and vocabulary and (ii) a speaking test to establish fluency and degree of confidence in actively using the language.

Course Outline
You may wish to begin learning a new language, or improve your language skills to help with your work, either now or in the future. You may want to improve your language skills to communicate with other people once you are staying or even living overseas. You may want to use a language better to help you when you are traveling. Or you may just want to learn a language for fun! Whatever your reasons for studying, the DeJump team has more than 21 years' experience in language teaching and our team of teachers will help you achieve your goals quickly and enjoyably. Based on the results of your needs analysis and language assessment, your tutor prepares a course outline, identifying specific aims and target areas to work on during the course.

Training Options

A. Standard Format

One-to-One Courses
A 'must' or any senior or professional for whom a language component is essential for success. Tailor made to suit the exact needs of each participant. We take care in the research and design of all course materials. These courses are personal and completely flexible, with one or two trainers, depending on how intensive the course is.

Small Closed Group Courses
The emphasis is on essential communication skills in a variety of professional situations. Maximum value is gained from the exchange of ideas, comparing problems and learning with people with the same language needs and objectives.

One-to-One or Small Group Cultural Courses
Suitable for clients who will be living and working abroad or who make regular business visits such as embassy and international company staff at any level who will need to move in social and business circles in their jobs. The emphasis is on etiquette.

Both one-to-one and small closed groups can be trained on an intensive full time basis (from 4 to 8 lessons per day, from 1 to 7 days per week) or an intensive part-time basis (from 2 to 5 lessons per day, from 1 to 4 days per week).

All courses are designed to take into account the aptitude and availability of the participants and how quickly they need to acquire language skills. Specific language is taught to match the participants' business and social needs. All courses can be combined with self-study options such as e-learning or computer-based training (CBT).

A. Custom Format

One-to-One Telephone Language Courses
Ideal if you are often traveling but can be reached by telephone in any destination, if you are regularly based in remote locations or if you can only spare 30 minutes per day to study. At prearranged times, from 1 to 7 days per week.

One-to-One or Small Group Last Minute Courses
Designed with the busy executive in mind. Often participants must travel abroad at short notice. This is a one/two day intensive course, often on weekends, to refresh their language skills before they meet with clients or alternatively to give them the basics of a new language.

Cultural Rituals
The perfect occasion to combine learning with fun! For groups of colleagues who want an introductory ten week language course in a relaxed and fun environment after work. A glass of wine or sangria accompanies each session to aid relaxation and stimulate conversation. Guaranteed to improve office dynamics and help colleagues create new friendships.

Luxury Weekend Conversation Courses
The perfect gift or treat. A weekend (Saturday and Sunday or just one day) out and about in the city of your choice. Clients visit places of interest (e.g. museums and art galleries), and have lunch or dinner in elegant restaurants where they have to order their food in the target language. All accommodation, meals and transport are arranged as a package.

Family Context Courses
An excellent immersion into the local culture for those who need to make rapid progress in a language. Participants are placed in the home of a qualified, native speaker teacher who will treat you as part of the family throughout your stay with all meals provided. Special requests for location, interests and private bathrooms can be accommodated if sufficient notice is given.

For companies who would prefer their employees to learn with employees of other companies, evening training in open groups can be arranged.

Our associates' unique and cost-effective approach to corporate language training are run in a wide range of tailored courses in foreign languages for clients across North America, from a few hours per week on location training, to full immersion courses. Success is down to a team of highly qualified language trainers and our comprehensive management information enabling our clients to monitor the return on their investment. Our corporate training programs includes topics such as:

All courses are aimed at business and professional people. Many participants work for international companies such as Lavallin, Volkswagen, IBM, Bell and Bombardier. Others are lawyers, doctors or politicians. They are generally aged between 30 and 60, and have clearly defined needs to perform better in English in an international environment.

The DeJump trainers are all experienced professionals, each with between 10 and 20 years experience of English language and intercultural training. This wealth of experience is one of DeJump major selling points. We also work with language training providers in different parts of the world.
