Medical Translator (LINF010504E)

Description
- Translate complex texts in a variety of medical topics
- Produce a translation in the target language that is exact, clear with a fluid tone
- Respect the nature of the original content
- Use financial terminology relevant to the target region
- Respect established documentation for each project
- Translate using a translation memory or with a word processing software
- Work at a pace that is fast enought to meet established deadlines (average daily target
  of 1,500 to 2,000 words/day)
- Perform terminology and conceptual search to produce high quality translations
- Give linguistic feedback to clients
- Perform other documentation tasks, if required

Requirements
- Five (5) ans experience as a medical translator in the medical or pharmaceutical field
- Doctorate, masters or degree in life sciences
- Be familiar with MS Office suite
- Advanced kowledge of Trados or other translation memory
- Familiar with conversion file tools
- Familiar with computer tools
- Be motivated and be able to meet tight deadlines
- Be able to work alone or in a team
