Description
- Translate technical documentation, hard copy or electronic
- Answer technical questions from clients and supervisors
- Perform research in glossaries, with technical contacts, online databases
- Proofread translated material from freelancers
- Send for review and implementation of corrections to the regional expert
- Deliver the files to customers and project managers

Requirements
- 5 years of experience as a technical translator
- Master degree or degree in any technical field (Engineer level)
- Advanced degree in translation studies in source language
- Practical experience in the engineering or IT industry
- Strong software skills
- Motivated and handles tight deadlines
- Good stress management skills
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Proficient with all MS Office software
- Advanced knowledge of Trados or other translation memory tool
- Advanced knowledge of Catalyst or other localization tool
- Familiar with conversion tools, e.g. from ASCII files/Word into FrameMaker, Robohelp,
  Illustrator, QuarkXpress or WordPerfect
